This doesn't sound right. I have about 8 domain names with netfirm paid thru paypal, and they never asked me this.

How did you pay it? I suggest you pay via Paypal, this is the safest method in my opinion. If you paid via Paypal, then they usually shouldn't ask for a credit card. But I also have already made that experience. To avoid that, you must have a bank account and verify it in Paypal. Then you are a verified member of Paypal and you have all the policies. That worked for me, and it should work for you too. But I think this only works if you haven't paid yet. If you have already paid successfully and they ask for a credit card, then I would recommend you contact these people at Netfirms if they received your payment via PayPal.

Hi ujahrman thanks for the info.
I have paypal verified account and i paid them afterwards the billing department was asking for credit card info. But since i dont have a credit card and i am not interested in buying also.I contact with them and they said they will refund the amount within 2-3 days. I think i should go for domain registering at godaddy do you have any experince with them wheather they also ask credit card info after registering the domain.
