You're on the street. You're being threatened. This and that family member is going to die according to that person. What do you do? And what is the most serious thing you can do to that person in your country without ending up behind bars?

In the U.S., at least in Texas, self-defense is allowed, you could kill him, if you can prove it was self-defense.

well, some states have less "understanding" about self-defense, but Texas is still, in some ways, the wild west...

I see. So everything is quite different when you're suddenly in a different state. Must be very confusing...

Isn't that confusing? Different laws in each state, I mean? To me USA looks like 50 countries in one...

He would be lying down unconscious as it is said that its pretty hard to withstand one small blow out of my big hand.I do not beat anyone with an intention to kill them though. How about you?

Depends. If the guy is really aggressive I'd up my pace, maybe run even. But if I am walking with a female friend or anything I'd do a neck grip. That way he's out for a few seconds and that would give me the opportunity to run or to give him another punch or kick. I am not that much of a fighter. :D

I am always prepared. When I am outside with a female friend I have deodorant with me. Yes, you can't have pepperspray or anything with you. Amd I have basic self-defence understanding. :) I don't know what mase is sorry. Cell phone, I always have mine with me. :)

If a dear loved one of mine is going to die then I would not hesitate to strike and or attempt to beat the assailant. Regardless of the outcome I could not simply stand there, I would have to do something. I may not win but I figure how can I win, if I did not do anything to help and or stop this person. The law may see it differently but I will not no time to think about the law as at the moment where may they might be.

In Holland you can be arrested if you don't help someone in danger. It's either you walk away fast or you have to help or face possible arrest. But apart from that, sure thing I'd help someone I know. A quick blow to the neck or somewhere else sensitive wins you some time to give another blow or jab.

Wow! Hahaha, we've got a whole movie script here. If I am in the main part, I would spray some deodorant in his face and he won't see anything for a few seconds, then I'll use his confusion to knock him on the ground andkick him in the stomach, and tie his hands and so that he's not able to move. And then I'll stuck the pocketknife I always carry with me into his throat and ask him 'Who told my family is gonna die, ha?' If you produce a movie, pls, consider me for the main part first!!!!
