Are you fun of hosting a last minute new year's party? I observe their are people who are always ready for a rush. Like in hosting a party. It seems they are ever ready for the plan like the decor, foods, and activities. How about you?

I guess I will find out this year I rejected all the invitations I got, because I wanted to spend time with my family. Then a couple of friends told me they were going to a show which was supposed to end just after midnight, so I invited them over for a drink. Then a good friend of mine had her plans cancelled in the last minute, so I invited her too... yesterday another couple called and said they had nothing to do, so... Guess I'm going to start cooking and decorating today. At least I have a lot of food left over from Christmas

Yeah, let us be frugal. Left overs are not bad to eat as long as they were kept well. Good for you, you still have something to cook for this new year. What will you cook for your friends who will be coming over?

That's what I was researching right now online One of the guests brought me a goose, so I guess that's on the menu, as long as I figure out what to do with it, and mentioned he might bring me a rabbit today as well. (My friends tend to bring me all sorts of things that are unusual in the kitchen, I'm the creative cook ) I'll make shrimp cocktail and blueberry muffins, those are my trademark, and the Christmas leftovers, and I hope that will be enough to feed everybody.

I personally hate parties of any nature. And this year I won't be able to celebrate new years as I'm performing at a red carpet event. I'll be singing. Ok maybe I'll celebrate after the performance is over but I don't like to put on parties at all. They stress me out. Lol!

Yeah, I agree with you. It is really stressful. The work load to prepare is taxing before the party and after the party. I do not want partying at home too. I want it be done outside so that there would be no hassles and inconveniences.

Rather no. I like to prepare parties carefully, I don't like to host them on the last minute. I have a kind of schedule, so a party must be in my schedule, so I would know it coming and would have enough time to get ready for it.

i can prepare for whatever event that is, whether it take a year to prepare or a day only. That is my calling, Events Management. However, what i cannot do is host the party itself - and that i need to improve on. I usually and most of the time work behind the scenes and make sure everything works well, which usually goes well. But when it is time to go out and talk, somehow, all the things i want to say backstage goes out the window. If not, they all juggle in my brain so i would appear so incoherent that no one can really understand me. Delivery would be good, but coherence is not, so understanding and getting the point is really not accomplished. But yeah, parties and events are really fun to do. Once you have gotten good training as well, you can do all of those even in just a few hours of preparing for everything.

Wow.You can do manage events. That is nice to hear. Because it is my problem when ever there is an incoming event. I really do not know where and how to start doing things. More so for few hours only to do it.

Enjoy so that you can appreciate the season. After long waiting, you can end the year with a bang. You can eat all you can but be careful with what you eat. You can join singing and other activities.
