My 2010

I've been procrastinating to write my year-end report (report on what happened to me this 2010). But, I will stop that procrastination now. So here it is: Immediately after the Christmas of 2009, I stressed myself on what to include on my list of what to achieve the next year, and fortunately, I was able to complete my list on the night of Dec 31 right before I welcome 2010 - I actually have 10 things to achieve and I actually achieved 4 on the list! Am I happy? Yes, indeed! (I've been pressuring myself since day one and I love it because it somehow gives me motivation to attain my goals, so why not continue doing list of what to achieve until the day I can't actually make I list! Haha!) After listing the things that I need to achieve I started my 2011 by going to Palawan and spending the first 5 days of my 2010 in a remote village there to participate in a very fulfilling activity of a non governmental organization. We actually taught the people (native Palaweños) how to actually appreciate more their culture and tradition and also how to legally fight for their ancestral domains. Following my meaningful trip to the “Last Frontier of the Philippines,” I just stayed in Manila for work (the fist quarter is the busiest because this is usually the time when our clients pay us a visit); I wake up in the morning and prepare for work, and after work I usually go home directly. This kind of routine continued until the third week of March. And just when I thought that my year will just be plain, someone came into my life –the very first person who wasn’t intimidated by me. Oh well, I don’t know why I intimidate people rapidly; I am very friendly and accommodating. I met the person in one of job interviews. After exchanging more than a thousand texts, I finally decided to meet the person for the second time. And after the meeting, that person pursued me, and yes, I agreed to have a relationship with the person - our relationship ended on June 3, right before my birthday! I actually broke up with the person for unknown reasons. Haha! Oh well, I already moved on. And it took me almost 6 months to move on. Haha! So, it means I just moved on and I spent the whole second half of 2010 reflecting and limiting myself to meet other people – I wanted to know myself more that’s why I chose to be alone. So, how’s my 2010? Steady and not so memorable! Haha! So right now, I am very delighted to welcome 2011! May I have a very memorable 2011! Happy New Year and Happy MyLotting!
