hey there mylotters :) i just had the most random thought about something that happened to me a few months back. i was getting ready for an interview for a school back in june i think. i had to catch the bus, so i stood at the bus stop minding my own business. then all of a sudden i look to my left and see something moving in the grass. i tried to get a closer look and couldn't believe my eyes. there was a turtle walking down the hill that my house is on going towards the sidewalk lol. now i really like turtles, so i actually wanted to keep it but unfortunatley the bus came....anyway is that not like the weirdest thing ever??? (by the way i live near a big city where i'm pretty sure turtles are scarce lol)

Awwe.. That experience was really cool. I'd love to be on your shoes. Bad thing you weren't able to keep the turtle as pet. On second thought, I hope it found its way to its natural habitat and didn't end up with the wrong hands. My friend also told me that she found a turtle on her yard after a strong rain flooded our town. Unfortunately, she was too scared to catch it. The next day, it was gone.

It is not too weird, if there is grass for the turtle. I had a mud turtle make a detour through my yard once, not a terrapin or land turtle. Now the closest body of water she could have come from was over a mile away. Closest one she was probably headed for was a mile or so further from my house. Do you know what kind of turtle was in your yard.

no i have no idea what kind of turtle it was. i didn't get to look that close. i didn't want to mess up my interview clothes. but all i know is that it did not belong in my area. i live near the city. i'm pretty sure there are not alot of turtles around my area. and i dont think there is any water close enought for a turtle to live in...i even told alot of my friends and they all agreed it was the weirdest thing for a turtle to be there
