Religious people are delusional.

You have given us someone else's opinion. What is yours? Do you think religious people are delusional, and on what do you base your opinion?

Perhaps delusional is too strong a word. People will think you are calling them crazy. The video does bring up some very good points. Beliefs are not always true regardless of how true we want them to be. One must search out the truth or facts in all things. Though very much flawed, religion is mankind's attempt to understand God. Deep down, we all know God whether we care to admit it or not. Since knowledge of all kind must be discovered, mistakes will happen along the road. Beliefs are no more than a patch that covers the missing parts when the real truth or facts are not known. Even atheists are making mistakes based on their beliefs. They assume God does not exist based solely on the beliefs of religion. Since religion doesnot add up then God could not exist. They claim there is no proof of God. My answer to that is that they should act like true scientists. First one must believe the possibility of it being true, then one must search to DISCOVER the truth. Without the will to search for God, open for the truth regardless of what it is, then one is doing exactly what religious people do. Relying on personal beliefs. When you discover God, you will have your proof. Why won't God fix amputees???? There are very good reasons. THINK ABOUT IT BEYOND WHAT IS IN FRONT OF YOUR NOSE. A Being capable of creating the universe holds great wisdom. God works on multiple views upon multiple levels. To come close to UNDERSTANDING, one must expand their thinking. Like the video said. THINKING IS IMPORTANT!!! It's all a test of intelligence. Who is up for it!!!
