It doesn't mean that made in China means fake. There are lots of good companies who make products in China and they sell it in international market for good price. But, there are lots of products similar to name brads which are producted in China. These products are cheap, bu they come with no warranty and they don't last for a long time. You can buy a lot of those products in the streets in India. People are also against Chineese products here in America because all the jobs are moving to China.

Thank you for your reply, daliaj. Happy New Year! It is sad that people from foreign countries don't support Chinese products, even these things are very good and price is reasonable. It is normal that when they heard things made in China, they refuse to buy them and all hang up the phone. If everyone like you, they may know exactly that made in China is not equal to fake.

I have discovered long ago that a lot of the branded companies have their products made in China. I guess the fact that they make the originals enabled other Chinese to product fake ones too. I don't think it is fair to assume that all China products are of poor quality or is fake. If they are not good in making the products then a lot of the big companies should have pulled out a long time ago since that would affect their name.

The concern about Chinese products is not that they are fake but that they can be produced more cheaply there than in the West. China's labour costs are much lower and you do not have the huge amount of health and safety related legislation that surrounds industry in other countries. Also the Chinese Government will do things to atract overseas investment that democracised governments would not do. Offer preferential tax incentives and allow monopolies for example. What people mourn most though is the loss of their own indigenous manufacturing base and it just seems that it is all going to China.

No, not exactly. Actually, when my Samsung cellphone was lost to a thief, i bought a Nokia N96, China made. It was cheap and it's even dual sim, with camera , tv and it has touch screen. I accidentally slipped once and i have it in my hand. The touch screen was broken , yet it is still functional and very much okay. Since i don't often use its touch screen but it's keypad instead , i didn't have it repaired anymore. It has a little dent but it's so much okay. So far, it has served me for almost a year now .

I think some of the products of China are non repairable so if ones it damage you can not able to use that products. I think it dame within a short time, that is why foreigners hate Chinese products.
