They are at it again...
As some of you know, I live in a hostel. And this time I am still here in spite of vacations. Well, for some time a construction work has been going on here. They start early in the morning and keep working till late night. So the whole day it goes on: Wham wham Bam bam Shrieeeeeeeeeee.....
Now, it was more difficult when our exams were going on. How can someone concentrate in such a noise? And really, some exams are still going on!
It's getting cold here day by day. And due to this work, I am now devoid of any ray of sun too. My staying here means I couldn't bring my warm clothes as well. So this room feels like a cold storage....
There is more to come. Wait till they start watering my part of building.
P.S. Sorry for unorganized presentation. I didn't really mean to do that anyway. Your inputs are quite requested...

So, can these people think for themselves, sweetie?
Never heard of working when everyone went home after the exams?
Idiots.
Hope you don't start growing when they start watering that building.
Here i will send you a ray of sunshine from the other crappy country.
TATA.

Library could be the solution but people there get seriously offended if you actually STUDY there. And you know how difficult it's to concentrate when so many angry eyes are set upon you!

that's strange, but when I was in college that was one of our options - and you could gather some books around you to help study - and they had these "carol" things with walls so you had your privacy...
it has been a while since I was in school

So how is it that I didn't receive a notifier for this?
What a sad situation to be in! I hope that at least at night things quieten down and you are able to sleep.
Hey how about some ear-plugs?! No, not to keep you warm but to make it so that you don't hear the noise and can study with out being disturbed? Or you could use them at night so that at least you get a good night's sleep and are ready to face yet another (terrible ) day.

myLot sometimes forgets about you! Admin of course, how could community ever??
Back to the point... It seems a peaceful night at least now. But I'm not in a mood to study. I'm shaken....
Earmuffs I do need, but for the warmth especially. I suspect my brain is freezing day by day That's why I just can't operate anymore!
*sigh* What a bad time for these things to occur...

Wear two to three shirts, preferably a cotton one inside, and others outside. Also wear socks even in nights. :) You are a guy so you do need to cover your head as well. Let me see, do you have a spare towel or pillow case? Use that to cover your ears and head. I wear slacks and I use salwar above it. Works great. :)

Thanks for the suggestions :) I'll try the first one. Not only it keeps warm, my body too will gain some volume. I love looking not-so-underweight!!

I can afford... but.... :) No excuse now.
I love idlis But the original ones, not from here! I went to Coimbatore some three months back and couldn't lay my hand on one.. Complained about this to my friend. He said, "Ah! So you love hardcore idli!"
Hardcore? Quite inappropriate word! Besides, I love those because of their being soft!!
How much can I rant..

We've hair - lots of it on our heads to keep us warm.
But I was suggesting that towel, and pillow case system for nights. :) Day time, you get the covers for ears - Rs.10 each. I think you can afford that. :) That should do. :)
Wish I could send some sunshine kiddo. But since you are thin, I would love to fatten you up a bit - I make excellent idlis, how about it someday? :)

I think I will dye my Wendy avatar's hair to blonde, this way she can continue to open her mouth to let the world know how warm we are.

I remember when there was construction going on around the area of high school when I went. There was a lot of loud noises. Given that we left at 2:30, they could have done construction then. It was not like they were putting that many hours a day, with as many breaks as they seemed to be taking and how much time they spent. Still construction could be loud. I remember from like about 2001, 2002, 2003, there was a lot of construction to the fact where it was a pain to even get out of the house. Still some people are not considerate. Not at all.

Really...
Yesterday I commented about having a peaceful night. LOL Seems they are in a revenge mood tonight!! Not much noise for whole day, but now they are creating quite a racket. And that too just outside of my window!!

Assuming singup means information technology (computer) department or perhaps interpretation for library.
However, it is holiday so maybe they are closed. I just suggested library so wondering if there is perhaps a public one that despite the holidays may still be open.
