A few months ago there was this crazy hype on the internet about reverse phone lookups. All kinds of Clickbank products were released about this phenomenon. It all made me very curious. Can you really look up the identity of unknown phone and cell phone numbers or is it really only hyped up nonsense?

I do know that there are many services out there that do offer this. I used one once and yes, I did get the information. I do not know of any that are free though as the ones I have seen and used does charge a fee.
The landline look ups though are free.

I do know there are a few free reverse phone lookup services for USA but they don't give detailed info. Despite of that I still find it surprising you can find so much information about persons in USA. There's no such thing as a reverse phone lookup that detailed in my country. :)

I use whitepages.com. You look up people to find their numbers and addresses and you can also do the reverse look up. It is free to use as long as the number is listed. If it is private they can't do much. For cell numbers they can try. If you want they look harder and will text you the information to your phone. If they don't find anything they don't charge you but if they find it then they charge like $1.99 I think.

Thanks for the website. I have an American cell phone number to look up but it won't give me names. Apparently you need to pay for it but I only see text information for Americans. Maybe I need to look for an international service. Or do you have an alternative? :)
