Don't laugh: I have 13. Ages ranging from 6 months to 12 years. What do I do, buy lots of food, and kitty litter, I feed everyone from separate plates, so there's a ton of mayhem during feeding time. Cleaning the catboxes (I have 6 of them) is a chore, I've got to clean them all at least three times a day. Vacuuming often is a requiement, and cleaning the kitchen floor must be done several times a week too, to maintain a clean house.
It's like living in a zoo, really.
But they do give me oodles of love.

Oh yes, I get cat food and litter delivered - about 60 400 gram tins at a time - lasts about a month, plus dry food and litter in 15 Kilo bags. I've got 5 litter trays, 4 of them in the living room for the use of the 7 month old kittens and one upstairs for the use of the old ladies who don't like to go outside if the weather is bad. Usually though the adults go outside to une the outdoor litter tray (AKA the garden)
They can be a real pain in the butt sometimes, but I'd not be without them.

They can get out or in at anytime through the old coal bunker. The outside entrance is only big enough to admit a cat so I'm not worried about two legged intruders getting in that way, and Felix, the big feline "man" of the house, sees off any stay cats that come in.

I have seven now ranging from 15 years to 7 months old. I think that seven is my limit - it's about what I feel comfortable with as far as taking care of food and vet bills is concerned. I think that any number is OK as long as they are being properly looked after as far as food and vetenary attention is concerned.
It's be of concern if there were so many that the owner could not take care of them properly and so neglect was taking place - a situation that happens too often it's sad to say.

They are all fed at the same time more or less and they all have there own bowl. Feeding from one large bowl is not a good idea as the stronger cats will push the weaker ones out of the way so that they would not get enough food.

I down't own a cat at the moment, but maybe one day I will have another. I know a lady that says she has seven Cats. One of her cats has a extra toe on each paw. She says it is worth alot of money. I don't know what kind of cat it is but I do know it is very furry.

I have three cats in the house. I think that three is a good number to have. Having as many as your talking about doesn't seem healthy to me; mentally and emotionally, I mean. Although if I had more, it would probably be unhealthy physically too. lol I'm allergic. I guess it would be okay to have a lot if you have a lot of land and they are outside pets, but I'm the type of person who treats my pets like part of the family.

I have a sister who owns more that 20 cats. She is like the orphanage of stray cats in their place. She buys fish by the kilo and cooks them just for the cats food. She trains the cats to wait for their food.

I got three cats, soon a kitty will be born, no idea how many. All of them are toilet trained, but I only trained one, the first cat in the house, dunno how the other two learn how to use the toilet... maybe the first cat taught them how!

If I could onley see a cat useing the toilet. I have heard of some cats that do that. That is a prety cool trick to teach them. I have a dog that jumps up to a door sometimes. I think it may be his way of tell me he wants to go out. The knext thin I knoticed the cat started jumping up at the door. Maybe the dog taught that cat . Or maybe the cat realy taught the dog.

We just have one cat in our house and two dogs. We got the cat thinking it was female only to find out that it was male. I wouldn't mind another cat. But since he is male, we'd have to get him fixed first. Otherwise he will spray the house to mark his territory. He doesn't do it now since he is the only cat. I couldn't imagine having 20 cats. Just one and he's trying to kill me lol. He walks in front of me, or runs in front of me as we are coming down the stairs.
