Indifferent toward it. I feel the punishment must fit the crime. I can't judge someone else's life when I wasn't there and don't know the circumstances. I mean if I walked in on a rape and murdered the attacker should I be murdered?

Hello singup,
Im from Philippines and we had an electric chair execution then changed to lethal injection as they justified the later as a more humane method. But they abolished it also some years ago.I surely know crimes are happening massively and I just cant stand the agony of those victims and its family from crime committed on them and yet the perpetrator just end in life imprisonment as the greatest sentence here in my country.
Crimes are everywhere from senseless killings to ridiculous rapings.I dont see any reason and find any heart for those criminals to live and have another chance to ruin another innocent peoples lives.
i may be displayed an emotional view tho in God's mercy and glory i never been a victim or any member of my family but I dont need to be one of those victims to have such sympathy.

I do not support capital punishment because I think we should hate the sin but not the sinner.

Definitely and strongly against it. I don't believe in God, but I don't believe that humans have the right to decide on taking somebody else's life either. No matter what that somebody else has done. However, I do support other strong punishment for people who have committed serious crimes.
