Taking pictures

I love taking pictures, but I really need a new digital camera, since my got ruined during my last few travels (and moves). I love to take pictures of everything! Family and friends, and view and scenes. Do you enjoy taking pictures also? Do you use a digital camera or a Polaroid style? I know that there are many people that still like to use the disposable cameras also.
I find that taking pictures captures the moments and the memories. Sometimes I just send regular pictures of what I find interesting to friends and family, since we are all so far away. Is that something you do also. I am interested in any thoughts about pictures, sharing them, and the special fun of it.

I'm trying to make some money with pictures I take, submitting them to sites that pay you in various ways...
I find it is fun, but, I don't really have as much time for doing it as I want; however, that makes it more precious feeling :D

The one I am using right now is shutterstock. You get 28 cents everytime one of your photos is downloaded. I've heard of some people making hundreds a month with it passively, one guy even hundreds a day with a cache of 10,000 plus photos.
What is great about this site is you can also submit art like cartoon drawings, paintings etc, and even computer made vector drawings(those are a big thing for web designers).
I have a link under my profile to join the site(it is pretty tough to find the link online, most links will just take you to the site where you can download images and not submit them). Also, if you refer photographers, the site pays you 3 cents for every downloaded referral image...

Do you scrapbook too? I am a scrapper...and I love taking photo's....I love any type..of people places and things. I like doing a theme though as I use them in my scrapbooks..like recently a friend and I went shopping and I took photo's of us in front of all the stores....scrapped it as the money trail!

I wish I were a scrapbooker. I am not good at that. I have found that I am good at making digital dvd albums. That is fun. I pick the music, the interesting quotes and comments, and do all the stuff on my computer. I would love to do scrapbooking too...
