I think your professor is generalizing things. I do share my learned and tried recipes in my blog. Check that out in my profile page for the link. I use to find good recipes online and tried them successfully. No one will have the time to type the wrong recipes.

Sometimes it's true if your lucky :p but sometimes it's not true.. If you search some recipes, and you have get one recipes, you must try and don't forget to modify that recipes. I think with the modify, you will get the best result of the tart for example :D nice to share and happy lotting

If the recipes are from users, and have lots of comments thanking they are great :) I always make use of them and every time it's fantastic, better than the recipes from books. Sadly can't give you sites, they are not in english. Good luck to you!

Well, there are veritable sites that can be trusted, but since your teacher doesn't want you to research on the internet, why don't you go to the library and look for cook books? And to test your teacher's hypothesis, why don't you try downloading cooking instructions from a random internet site and try comparing it with what you will find from the library?
