travel in Denmark

I am from Denmark, and I think that there are many beautiful places here. Many tourists choose to visit Copenhagen and there are a lot of thing to see and do in Copenhagen, but there are interesting and beautiful places in other part of the country as well. On the peninsula (Jutland) my favourite places are Skagen, Skanderborg and Silkeborg. There are many lakes in the area around Silkeborg and Skanderborg and it a very nice place to go for a walk. There is also a place called "the sky mountain", it is not a very tall mountain, and the name is a bit of a joke, but the area is beautiful. The fairytale writer Hans Christian Andersen was born in a city called Odense.In Odense there are two museums about him, many tourists visit those museums during the summer months. In Denmark there are more than 400 islands and many of them are beautiful and very peaceful. On some islands cars are not allowed, and those islands are especially peaceful.

I have never been to Denmark, but I'm looking forward to that place as well. I once watched a programme introducing Denmark.It is beautiful and has an atomosphere of fairy tales. Hope one day we can go to Denmark.

I was 18 years old when I traveled to Denmark. I was on an inter rail ticket which I had started in Finland. I really enjoyed seeing the scenic capital city which is called Copenhagen. I know Denmark has some lovely looking islands and is in the North Sea. It has some pretty looking beaches. It is indeed really beautiful and the best time to visit is in the summertime.
