Have you ever done this to yourself? I've absolutely burnt myself with hot oil. Of course I've run my hand under ice-cold water for 5 minutes, and applied some anitbacterial salve, and taken some ibuprophen to reduce the swelling, and have my finger under an icepack.
Looks like I've go no boils, but it's red and angry, and hurts so much when I take it out of the iceoack...
Am I going to have to sleep with the ice on it?! Arg!
Got any siggestions?! Ouch!

We were out fishing and my mom actually came with us this time. For some reason she decided to cook supper there and brought all the stuff. So my daddy built the fire and we were frying potatoes. She told me to get the skillet off the fire so I pulled it off but it was too heavy for me. The other side of the skillet slid off the grate and hit the ground real hard. It splashed the hot oil back onto my arms. They looked terrible but the scars eventually grew off ( I was only 11 when it happened!)

When in pain, I take a paracetamol. But do consult the doctor first. He might have a better pain killer.

Much too late at night for a doctor, I'm afraid. But I have taken the equivalent: two Advil Liquidgels. Thanks for the advice!
