another single year. .

I've been single for 1 year and 4 months now. And I'm still counting. LOL. I love being single. I enjoy things I can't enjoy when I have a partner. I can go out anytime without thinking that somebody will be mad at me. My friend who had been NBSB or No Boyfriend Since Birth is really wishing to have a boy friend by next year. And I really hope and pray for her too. Although I'm always telling her it is better to enjoy life without additional burden. (Sorry for the term. lol) Yes. Honestly, I find it a burden for me, if I'm gonna answer yes to one of my suitors (Boasting . .ha ha ha) because it means I'm ready to commit and be bounded by rules and regulation. Of course, having a partner is not just about love, it is also about taking responsibilities and obligations. And since, I am still a student, I don't want my time to be cut into Worship, Family, Study, Friends and Boy friend? So for me, it's better to focus on 4 important things I have now. I believe "True Love Waits" .

i havnt been single that long. the only things i miss is the cuddling and having someone to have a laugh with. but then this time i am staying single for a while tho was hurt to badly this time. so being single isnt that bad just miss the cuddle times!

I understand how you feel. Even I thinks of those things whenever I'm alone. But good thing I have friends beside me who never break my heart and always there for me.

i am pretty much on my own really. i hoping to put myself out there a bit more in the new year try and make some friends.

Think of it this way. You are not single. It is just that you have so much love to give that giving it to only one is not enough. That is why you choose not only one but everyone that is close to you to love and cherish til now.

It is nice to know that you've put study above all else and yes, true love waits. Like your friend, I am also NBSB but that doesn't mean because I don't have suitors around me. It is just that there are more important things than having a boyfriend now. Finish your studies first and then you will be able to see that there are better men out there suited for you. Enjoy being single!

I looked at your profile, and I think you're still too young. And I'm getting from your response that you're not an NBSB. So, I think you should enjoy your 'freedom' a lot more, and for a little longer. If it's time, it will come. And if he would be the right guy, you wouldn't notice your time being divided. And most of all, you wouldn't feel that he would be a 'burden'.

Sorry if I see a partner as a burden on my part. Yes, I have been in a relationship before. And I don't like the thought that because of love, a couple could do anything. Since, I'm a student, I don''t want anything that could distract my future career. I dream big. I hope things will work.

Hi... yeah I agree and its okay to be single, like me I'm single for more than 2 years and it doesn't matter if I don't have boyfriend besides being single may not always be a bad thing, what is bad is giving up hope on finding that someone special . Sometimes you have to stand alone to prove that you can still stand and I was able to do that..

Yes. That's it. Being alone is a part of growing, and it helps us to learn through our own. Find things according to what we want. And not because of boyfriend.

true love waits.. yeah that's true.. but even though patience is a virtue, still time is gold. LOL. just enjoy life! having a boyfriend may suck at times but it's really nice to know that someone is there for you.. i love being single too, but i really miss being in a relationship.. :P by the way, why do i have this feeling that i know you? may i know your real name girl? thanks.. :)

Yes, too, that time is gold, and since it is gold, I don't think I should waste my time looking for a partner. I love being single. I enjoy a of things. the world offers a lot of things to me, and so I like it.
