I'm planning to have a movie marathon (about 4-5 movies) and so I went to a local shop here in my country selling DVD movies. The vendor recommended me to about 4 different movie titles that tells stories about vampires against werewolves... much of these movies are just similar to the Twilight saga movie; love story of a human to a vampire and werewolf (Gosh, I dislike that movie). Here in my country, local television drama is even making a TV series out of those vampires and werewolves.
What's with the vampire/werewolf theme that movie producers are making a bunch of film out of it (may it be with a big budgeted or low budgeted film)? The freaky part is.. the movie theme really sells a lot and never goes out of time. Just think.."The Lost Boys" to "Interview with a Vampire" down to "The Twilight"... the vampire theme seem like an immortal too; it never dies.

I am guilty to liking such themes lol. I also loved Buffy the vampire slayer series. Fantasy is a popular genre and makes people think about imaginary beings, things larger than life and more vibrant. What makes vampires more appealing is that they have this "bad boy" charm and when then they mellow down and fall in love with humans it becomes amusing.

and everybody fall for that?? I mean the "mysterious bad boy" charm?? lol... but why does it have to be a role or character of a vampire or a werewolf?? a "mysterious bad boy" charm can be applicable to just a simple human character, is it not? :-)
