I am checking videos in facebook awhile ago. This really caught my attention and moved me. Good Samaritan are getting lesser and lesser as the years go by. If a young woman fall on the street would you help her? What if the filthy poor guy fall on the street will you help him too?
Check out this video:

Whose knows I might change your perception in your life simply by watching this video.

as human beings we must help each other and helping to people around us, because they were brothers of us all. Do not just look from the rich or poor, but we have to have a heart that is really sincere from the bottom of our hearts to help each other. because if we help each other, then who will help us if no one cares?!

Hi there syoti,
Yes I would definitely do something to help you. If I was unable to stop and help you myself then you can be assured that I would find someone who could help you. I would not just leave you lying there on the pavement. The other day there was another discussion on this same type of situation where a man actually did end up dying after no one stopped to help him. Very sad story.

I too was shocked to see that as well, as I would be one to go all out of my way to help. If my safety were in question, I too would immediately call the police for help and or ambulance.
But the fact that people do not stop to even take a look baffles me every time.

Watching the video really did make me question what I would do if a person collapsed in the street especially in the case of a homeless person. I would like to think that I would at least call Emergency, after all that is not a lot required in doing that and it could save the person’s life! I think that people are definitely a lot less compassionate these days and that may be because folks are afraid; they are scared of muggers and the like. Having said that calling an ambulance is not a big ordeal and there is no excuse for not doing it even from a safe distance!

Calling 911 or Emergency is already a big help for the person who are in grave danger. I consider that people who are heartless. I hope this could be a wake up call for those heartless person. Because " What if THEY ARE the person collapsed in the street, the situation is like boomerang. So heartless people out there be careful.

Hi syoti,
I have not gone yet your link but can say that our humanity is on decline. While helping other what comes first is the position or the look of the person.
You correctly said that if a filthy looking guy fall on the street there would not be any one to lend a helping hand to him but if a woman of fashion does many hands would come up and this is the irony of life.

But they just do not care and you would seek no reason as to why.

I don't care whos falls in my presence I will try to help period. Now I would never grab someone and lift them up only because it can cause damage to them you never know if they fractured their hip or leg. Secondly I would call 911 and get them the professional help that they need. I would stay with them until that help come to them. But never, unless they life is in danger, should you ever try to move or pick up someone who has fallen.

I guess, i will help that woman. It's your instinct that when someone will be falling , you will try to catch her from falling in order that she will not be injured. Although, i cannot do that if she falls from a very high place. I will call the fireman if that's the case. LOL
On jeepneys, i always have my eyes on those who are coming into it. Specially if they are senior citizens, i always try to look at them if they have already taken their seat before the driver scampers his jeep away.
i guess, i am a helpful person after all. LOL

haha =D I'm always a bad, evil guy. I dun like to help anybody at all. If i see anybody on the ground, maybe i would go near them, extend my leg for a sincere kick to prevent them from standing up again?? lol =D Just kidding! Well, seriously, i dun think i will help them up because people in these day and time, dun like to be help. Some of them might even think we have ulterior motive by helping them. WOrse of all, some might even shout molest.. lol =D

People are afraid that if they help someone and do something wrong they will get sued. That is a shame! However, I am disabled and I have people ask if they can help or just do help all the time. Sometimes even young people help me, and that always suprises me. They are usually too wrapped up in themselves to bother with anyone else. All in all it makes me feel much better about our society. If I needed medical help though, I would probably be on my own. Same thing if I were homeless. I am not in much of a position to help anybody else, but I think I would if there were anything I could do.

I would and have done so before. It shouldn't make ANY DIFFERENCE whether or not the person is working class or homeless.

That was a profoundly compelling video and very sad. To be perfectly honest, I would help the woman without question, because it's less threatening to me. The man, I would call 911, but if I was by myself, I wouldn't stop and check on him. However, if I were with someone else, I would be more likely to offer comfort and assistance. It also would depend where I am, in my own little town I would have no trouble helping. In the city, I would be a little worried of getting into trouble myself.
Of-course, here in Canada, it's the law you have to assist anyone in trouble, be it calling the police, offering first aid, or just finding others to help, whatever you're capable of. It's actually called the Good Samaritan Law.

I believe that they can help themselves. Our Father helps those who cannot help themselves; who am I to decide to go a different way?

They will probably take out their mobile phones and record it and put it on some site and show to their friends. Generally they will think that it's funny.
Mostly help older people, especially old women.
The young ones are truly without compassion. I guess to feel sympathy you must have some life experience. They aren't evil or immoral, they just lock the life experience and because of that don't feel empathy. At least this is what i think.
Anyway, we must be more compassionate to our fellow people. God tells us to be kind.

Boo that sucks!! Damn i hate suck people you know, selfish and all that.
I would help anyone in need, as long as its possible for me to physically and financially do that.
What if we are in the same situation someday?
cant let the whole world be polluted with selfish and bitter people. I get bitter, but i never want people to be like me, kills the positivity and goodness in our environment.
so i always mind every single word i say.
people really need to learn manners and be more sensitive towards each other.

This is a daily disturbance for me as I can't help why more people simply do not care. I do all I can regardless of what the person looks like, with a positive approach that I will okay while helping.
Some people today care more for themselves then they do for others and this is where the issue is at.

There are many people who would just either stand around and watch or just carry on walking past them. The weather that we have has caused so many people to fall as it is very icey and so extremely slippery. If someone does fall then aslong as they are able to get up i would go and help them, it is just instinct really, we do have to be careful though as we don't know if they have broken anything when falling and so we don't want to put them in anymore pain. We should help out rather than just leaving them to struggle on their own, no matter who it is, they are still human beings and would appreciate the help.
