Is paypal giving service to India?

Actually it was a past story. There was an issue few months back, now anyone can use PayPal if he/she have PAN card. Did you get such information like enter your PAN card etc?? If no, then its ok. If yes, then it is mandatory for you to enter PAN card on PayPal. I have checked the Paypal blog there is no such news available. Go ahead and use PayPal.

I am from India and Paypal is still available for India.the RBI issue with Tax and Fund with paypal transfer has been shorted out.You can still receive your paypal money into your bank account.Only thing is changed that you cannot fund your paypal account using Bank account but you can do that using credit card.

I don't think that information is really true. Where did you listen that? I recently verified with PayPal and I had no problem with it. I think PayPal service for Indians was stopped in the early time of this year but now it has become very easy to use for me. Yo can easily get verified there.

I read that they have decreased the amount of services they provided to India. I don't think you can add funds to your account through your bank anymore, which is really bad. Not sure what other services they have stopped. I am already on the lookout for an alternate online payment processor. Can someone suggest me one?
