Well I'm sure you've all heard the saying life's a rollercoater well whoever first said that wasn't kidding. It's been a while my fellow myloters. My life has been so topsy-turvy in that past few months that mylot was the least of my worries amongst the chaos. It feels good to home! My husband recently got out of the military, and it was very unexpected! So a HUGE lifestyle change has come about. We've gone from being the all American military family, to now collage students living on campus. He has always been the bread winner and now I have to become the primary source of income, which I'm finding out very quickly its hard for a housewife of 5 yrs to get hired ANYWHERE! All in all things might seem crazy but were finally settling into our new found freedom and all thanks to God. We've kept our focus on Him and now things are falling into place. There were two weeks there where we were literally homeless staying in a hotel running VERY low on cash with our entire house in storage. That was the bottom of the bottom. We had no idea where to go and no one would give us a rental agreement knowing my husband was unemployed. But thoughout all of it we kept our eyes on the prize and Jesus will never let you fall to far out of His reaches! He picked us up and placed us in a comfy 4 bedroom apt. And led my husband to school full-time. There's definitely a light at the end of this tunnel!

Amen to everything you said. You know you can end up with literally nothing and as long as God is with you it's passable. You can have everything and feel like you have nothing. I remember having my car repo'd one year and took the bus everywhere. My checks were garnished by the IRS for a whole month with no one willing to help. I was the happiest person as long as I got to church to learn about God. I have been home for the past 6 years as a housewife after having worked 15 years for the phone company. I know how hard it is to get hired. I have not been picky, I'll do minimum wage but no one has hired me. I just got my AA degree from college but it's still not enough. Like you I thank God that there is always food on the table, we have never not had enough food. On one budget and five kids no one understands how, and there are times I can't even understand but only God knows...

Praise God that He got you through those times. He is all sufficient and it's sometime all too easy to forget that. God has supplemented us every step of the way thus far, and we're still sitting on a zero income, waiting on my husband's unemployment. But some way some how we always have the gas for church, and we always a food in our bellies. Reminds me of that verse, (paraphrasing from memory) I clothe and feed the birds, I care for the birds, how much more I care for you.

So true. I knew this couple from church who didn't have any income coming in. One day people would show up with food here and there. Never alot but enough to get them by. They complained about the whole thing and I couldn't figure it out. Then I thought maybe God is showing you that he is providing little by little but never leaving you. They all of a sudden lit up thinking it was so, now the husband has a great job, the wife is in charge of leadership at a church. It's amazing but He is always there teaching us.
