New and Old

When a new design is made(i.e. a car)it is new and as time goes on it is old. So new versions of it comes out but the invention is still old so the youngest/newest car was the first design that came out as no one else has seen it before. Right? Thinking about this as time moves on and more people are born are we all older than the first / early humans? When we look back in time we see all of this stuff older than us. Humans are not a new thing and are very old now as time has gone on so the more of us are born the older we become? Does this mean in a way I am older than my ancestors, grandparent, parent, as they were born before me so are therefore an earlier version of my generation? I guess not as they may have lived and seen more than me or may not have as we are all now living longer these days??
