how will you refresh your appearance/face? do you use heavy make ups or mild make ups to refresh? me and my sister always mild make ups, such as face powder and very natural lipstick color.

I refresh my appearance by powdering my face with my pressed powder. All throughout the day, it is only the face powder that i would use to refresh my looks. My nose specially would get shiny. Sometimes, to test if my nose is already oily i would touch it with my fingers. If the finger i used to touch my face, shines then it's time for me to powder it again. But usually, i would powder after lunch and mid-afternoon.

I suppose when I was in my teens and first started using make up I tended to use it a bit heavy. But as we get older I favor more the natural look and prefer to not be so caked. So I try to choose colors that are not so bright and go along with my skin color as well.

I also use natural colors or barely there colors. I don't want to look like a clown. LOL

LOL mabeldaclan, I do know what you mean, as sometimes I see some women with so many different bright colors that I can't help wonder what they are thinking.

I use cold water to refresh my face. After washing, I apply moisturizer. Loose powder is also good for me. I use lip liner to brighten my lips.

Good Day! I love to use make up depending on the occasion and place but I prefer using a mild make up for me to look natural because natural make up brings out natural beauty. I don't want to have fake beauty that's why I always wanted to appear natural.

I think it's more the younger people who use the heavy makeup. The mild makeup tends to look nicer on older people. It looks nice on younger people who want to bring out their natural beauty too.

I think you should first wipe your face with wet wipes or oil strips so the oil will be gone then you put powder and lipstick. If you will not try that I think your face will be all cakey.

I used to wear very dark shades but when I started to "move on" with my life again, I just use makeup occasionally. The colors that I usually wear are the "barely there" colors. It makes the face flawless and it is really good to look at. I don't like playing with much color now since I'm not also very good at applying makeup. =) For me, the most refreshing look would be 'my look today': powder and lipgloss. =)
