The color of stars / myLot

I have read in one the discussions that the stars on top of our names are ranks. What is the meaning of the colors? I've noticed we have different colors.

but mine says 60/100 yours is 65/100. It also says mylot reputation.

I didn't notice that. I just found that out when you said it. I just viewed it when I pointed the cursor on the star. Cool. :)

I did not even notice that there are stars above our name. I wonder it too.
