What are the advantages and disadvantages of educational tours?

Students at one point in their school life would encounter an educational tour. When teachers are explaining to us stuffs about this tour, all they say are the good things that we can get. What about the disadvantages?

You get off school and you miss classes. That can be an advantage or disadvantage depending on your point of view.

I think, that's more of an advantage. :) Don't get me wrong. I'm a good student. XD. It;s just that, if those are educational tours, you are excused.

It's like getting sick and missing school, you have an excuse.
but it can be really tiring sometimes, especially when there is a time limit. Some educational tours are boring too.

The parts that we don't like are the boring ones. Of course we just want the tour to be all fun when it really has to include something educational. :)

Advantage is you will learn some new things that is not in school and of course you will enjoy. The disadvantage is that it is tiresome and of course we need money for us to go with them.

This is why they want you to ask questions so that they explain the neg. factors as well and all also make you more wiser as you grow along.
