strictness of paypal

Paypal is really strict when it comes to account security because it deals with money. Many accounts are being hacked and restricted every day. All customers must understand how Paypal works and should verify their accounts to prevent restrictions. I think it is a better idea for Paypal to send its customers emails about security to prevent fraud. I think it is not enough to just provide a link somewhere on their website as most people are too lazy to navigate and read. Educating its users/customers about the threat of scams will definitely cut off cases of locked accounts. With regards to Alertpay, I think it is more secured because it requires its users to submit documents to prove their identity before the account can become verified. Usually, Paypal only requires proof of identification when the account is restricted. Alertpay also requires a transaction pin before you can complete a payment, which is again an added form of security that Paypal does not offer.

Well, I have no problem with paypal. They are very polite with me when I request for the verification of my account... As for me I prefer paypal other than alertpay because I easily transfer cash from my account... I like also alertpay because it is very easy to be verified member...

The first thing I would do in this case is contacting Paypal for an explanation for doing so... and what need to be done to get your account active again... make sure that you are going to the legit site.

Once it has become monopoly in the market, it will cause a lot of problems. If the Alertpay has successfully become a competitor to this paypal, we can have more choices to send or receive our online payment. However, paypal has it's good intention to set the rules strictly so that, the members are more confident and secured by using it's service.

Thanks for giving this info. Actually I am basically using paypal for this online earnings and all. But I didn't know that paypal can block somebody's account just like that. Can you please tell me what are the possiblites of blockng an account?

jamiebones you are writing what you wrote because you are engry only.try to contact them maybe the will clearfy why the close it . i hope paypal is still there with other ways to send and recieve money online becuase it is granted by mylot admin here good day for you friend
