virender sehwag is ruled out of the one day series due to shoulder injury and team management dont want to take any risk with him before world cup.so rohit sharma has been chosen in his place.rohit had shown in past that he is very talented but failed to show consistency.so what would he do with this opportunity.can he make use of this
opportunity to throw a challenge to selectors for world cup selection.

Rohit Sharma has remained an enigma. This chap seems have such a fluid game, sound technique & so much time to play the bowling, but has failed to deliver time & again.
probably needs a good coach. It is said that Kohli developed his new found temperament from Ray Jennings, the RC coach.
You are right when you say that this could be his last chance. With another IPL4 coming up, so many more talents will be thrown up for selectors to choose from.

i totally agree that rohit had shown great promises in the past and people even had started comparing him with great legend sachin tendulkar. but after giving that many opportunities ,he has not been able to grab them and has failed many times.i think he is still one of the emerging players and one of the players which india would not want to loose.so he definitely need a proper guidance and proper coaching as he would be a player to watch in future.and happy mylotting.:)

I agree with you that this is going to be Rohit's last chance to make the world cup bus. If he misses out on this opportunity, he will not make it. Even he makes the world cup squad, I do not really see him playing any match unless injuries strike for India.

yeah may be that the reason why he is been given a chance in this series.if any injuries occurs india need a player who can step in and feel the shoes if needed.even if he succeeds in this series,he still may not be the part of world cup and this would be definitely a big boost to his career.hope he would make use of this opportunity.cheers.happy mylotting.

Yea rohit sharma has given a last chance before the world cup but i don't think that he will play even a single match in this series as virat kohli and yousuf pathan are present in the team. And i also dont see the indian management experimenting with rohit sharma. So he is just going on a tour to south africa. Happy mylotting. Regards, harry.

yeah that could be the case but i think he will be hard done if he wont be given any game to show what he is upto.it would be difficult for him to get into the world cup squad as i feel yousuf pathan's great performance against new zealand has alomost sealed his place for world cup.but nowdays players suffering from injuries,i think it would be wise to give rohit sharma a go before world cup as one never knows ,he might be needed in the world cup.Regards.keep mylotting.:)
