is steyn unplayble? can india find any way to tackle dale steyt

dale steyn is really at his peak in this on going test series and each and every indian batsman is struggling to find some way to tackle him.and he is just looking unplayable on many occasions.so i think this would be the biggest challenge in front of indian team if they want to win their first ever series in south africa.it would be a context between steyn and indian batsman and this would really decide the series.hope this time india will come with some different strategy against steyn.eagerly waiting to see the contest.

Jeol Garner's Strike rate is 50.8 in tests & Donald's 47. Compared to this Steyn has a strike rate of 38.5. This shows how unplayable Steyn has been.
Also he is by far the no1 bowler in icc test ranking.
He is consistent, pacy, has good swing & great heart; all combinations to make him a lethal bowler. In his current form Steyn is almost unplayable.
The only factor remains to be seen is " How long can he sustain this pace & intensity without burning out ?"

i never seen him really getting under the skin of the batsman by doing sledging and all.he always looks like a bowler who knows his strengths and does his job intelligently.as you have rightly said the great speed, swing and consistency is the key for his success.i think south africa have handled him very well as they never overuse him.:)

Whenever I see Dale Steyn the term that comes to my mind is "Relentless". He is one bowler who will run in every ball and give his 100% into each ball. He is relentless in applying any strategy, be it pitching up or bombarding a batsman with bouncers. He is reaping the awards for this attitude.
I do not think he is an unplayable bowler. But you need to be very patient while playing him as he keeps coming at you all the time. So I think if India can be patient they can take him on.

he does give his 100 % in each and every delivery and one should really admire the way he handles himself as nowdays many fast bowlers suffer due to injuries ,i never seen steyn missing a game due to injury.this in some ways shows the professionalism that he posses.he is great bowler to watch.hope india would handle him much better in 3rd test.regards.keep mylotting.

i admit that he is indeed one of the best quickies in the world at the moment.
but the thing is he looks strong when bowling to batsmen who is afraid of him and his speed.
sehwag never blinks his eye when playing him.sachin & laxman understood his spped factor in these pitches and changed their game.
if everybody do that,steyn wont be the impossible player for this series.

Well, dale styne is one of the best bowlers of all times. And the best bowler in this decade. He is really a great bowler and his record shows it all. Its very difficult for the indian team to tackle him. They just have to play carefully against him. Happy mylotting. Regards, harry.

undoubtedly he is the best bowler in world cricket right now because of his speed swing and consistency.hope india would be able to handle him much better in last test.
