Hi, we are all at the threshold of a new year with all its hope and new possibilities. Is there any thing that you wish you had done but sorta regretted not having done in 2010.
Personally it is the meal I promised to have with a friend but not having done so. Not sure whether it is the lack of time or a case of pure procrastination. I resolve to fulfil this in the new year....
Do share your thoughts on this and Happy New Year to all.

There are a lot of things that I wanted to accomplish in 2010, that I didn't. I didn't get out of credit card debt like I wanted to, I didn't really get a new job (within a new company) also like I wanted to. I didn't get in shape, I didn't really make any new friends, there are just a lot of things that I DIDN'T do that I wanted to. I didn't go back to school in 2010. But I accomplished a lot, I think, as well. I got a new job (within the same company, with higher pay & more hours!), I had a great birthday, I traveled to Northern Europe in the spring, and made friends again with a friend I had a falling out with a couple of years before. I didn't get everything done that I wanted to, BUT luckily I moved last year's resolutions over to this next year's. Hopefully I'll actually get them done, too!

yup, I guess we all really need to take many small steps to achieving our remaining goals. And achievable ones too. Count our blessings and other achievements too!

Hi Carpediem
A few things really went unaccomplished tough I started out with my full enthu. My Blog and website... it started out ok, but I completely lost my focus due to other assignments. But I hope to maintain a log this year and get towards accomplishing things that I planned.

In the beginning of 2010 I started studying online. I decided to sign up for 6 different classes: Danish, English, German, psychology, philosophy and religion. It was all very interesting and I quickly got used to studying online, but after a month I realized that it was far too much for me. I was not able to do my home work on time, because I had a lot of homework in each subject and I also had a job. I was sad that I had to give up some of those subjects and I wished that I had been able to continue them all, but it will probably be more realistic to take one subject a time instead of 6 subjects.

Hi porcospino
6 subjects at one go That was really going to be tougher than I could Imagine.
Ok, on the serious grounds, as you are into this, let me ask you for some help here - I am 36, non-earning and ill. I cannot afford to pay a big amount - pls note I am from India and even a couple of USD means more for me. But I need to do some course to improve my writing skills and another for e-Commerce and Internet Laws. Can you recommend me some legit sites where they give out this kind of courses online (I need any lead so that I can be sure that If I spend some money it pays back - scared of ending up my money on scam and hoax sites).
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011

One year ago I moved in with my father and grandfather and had big plans to reorganize and refurbish this house... I still haven't done a thing. Maybe next year I'll find the time to take out all the junk that's been around here for years, and apply a new coat of paint and buy some new furniture, reorganize the books and throw away all the appliances that no longer work. I think less clutter around will also enable me to become more productive. Oh, well. Maybe in 2011

Yes...I promised one my friend that I will meet with him when I will be in US. But when I went there, the plan really didn't work out bcoz of my work schedule so i could not meet him at all. He didn't know that I went there. So when he came to know, he became really angry bcoz of me. so, this is the thing I wish I could have done this year 2010!!!! But anyhow, now everything is fine....so happy new year 2011!!!!

Happy new year to you Hatley. Guess we all need our little pushes to achieve that little extra. But sometimes we just have to remind ourselves with the Nike mantra - i.e. "Just Do It". Cheers.

I had so many plans for 2010, but were all destroyed by the horrid year I had. However I did gain a great deal of positivity in 2010.
I plan to restructure all of my past goals and work towards in the new upcoming year.
Happy New Year to you also.

If there's anything that I regret doing in 2010, it's that I didn't commit to my diet. Funny thing is, dieting is in my resolutions list this 2011. It's getting frustrating especially that I am conscious that the problem is me. Sometimes, it's just hard to accept reality. But hey, you gotta still strive for it, right? Quitting will never prove anything.
Cheers to this new year! :)

The only thing I regret not doing this year was messing up at work. I didn't call the customer back and verify what they wanted and their address. Which lead to me getting fired. :(
