Hi friends.. I have seen many Mobile Networks increasing SMS cost on special occasions like festivals and New Year and so on.. So this is not good for customers because they cant aaford more money on sending SMS to all.. but its a huge benifit to the Network holders.. Have you faced this thing in your place.. Please share your views..

Wow, this is a bad news. Although it seems to be a smart idea as the mobile networks can earn more in these occasions. However, as a customer, I really dislike this rule. Here we don't have much more options because we just have two mobile networks. They have already earned enough and I don't think they have to gain more from the customers. Hopefully they won't consider this and the SMS can still remain the same in the special holidays.
I love China

May be i am wrong but i read somewhere else that in order to handle the cost of high traffic during these festival or special days, mobile companies impose some extra charges to send SMS/MMS messages. This is the reason that we consumer pay more than the usual .
Our sweet friend that's why send us messages and wishes in advance (which seems not good to me) this is so because its very hard for them to tolerate these extra expenses particularly when you are not doing any job.
almost forgot to say,
" WISHING ALL OF YOU A HAPPY NEW YEAR "

Hi friend.. That might also be the reason to increase in rate.. but increasing so much is not fair.. atleast they can reduce the ratew little bit..
Happy New Year..
