With this year over, are you happy with your life, choices you made, things you did? Did you make some resolution last year and didn't stick with it like quiting smoking or a diet? I am not making any resolution this year! I,how ever will try to better myself a little bit, like more patience with stupid driver, people who have 29 items in the express lane...you know the little things.. But also i will make more time for my kids, cut back on pop and open to changes.
Have a Happy New Year!!

The year went giving a mixed feelings everywhere. In fact lots of extra tensions and additional burdens were involved which I could have avoid if I make proper movements. I realised the mistakes and I think the year ahead would be more better than what was in the last year. But on the work area, I am proud of my job assignments. This is the only area whee I can say I am proud that all my work are appreciated and I myself sure that my hard work and effort were completely a successful and all my senior officers and support staff were appreciated my work.
Also I am proud of my children that they are good in studies and perform very well in their dance programs and got a highly appreciated remark. Wherever I failed, it was my own carelessness and absent mindedness.
Thank-s

I feel ashamed about myself, i have done a big mistake but i have learnt from it and i have made a promise with me that i will never do it again in my life no matter whatever the situation will be.
about 4 months back i slapped on face of my lovely girl due to fight between us and it still hurts me on my heart. I feel so ashamed about it.

I always set out to accomplish my resolutions. What is the point of making them if you quit after January? Last year I needed to lose weight because I gained like 20 lbs. I lost all that and now I'm in tip top shape.

Since I graduated in elementary and high school, i have never made myself any resolution since i never seemed to be successful in following any of them. I always believe that i can change any time of the year when i am willing to do that. It takes courage to change something significant and serious in one's life.
For this new year i am willing to be more patient and be cool in every situation. I realized that if a person has a calm mind, then one can think clearly and can be wiser.

happy with the choices? well. most of the time, my mom is the one deciding for me. (and i really hate it) but what else can i do. resolutions last year? i did one. not to tease nor bully my brother anymore and no matter what. we're now very close. :) this year, i will eat less but read more and more and more and more because you know, whenever i do a list of my resolutions, i always forget it and say "i won't do it next time".. but still can't help it. you know, stuffs like that. so i'll just stick with my two resolutions every year. :D

I can't say I'm PROUD of myself, really, but maybe in a small way. I like your resolutions, they are very reasonable. I also need to have more patience for bad/crazy drivers - I get road rage really easily when someone cuts me off on the highway! Grrr! LOL. And I also hate those types of people who think they can go through the express lane at a store with a cart-full of stuff, when you have to wait behind them with only a jug of milk and a carton of eggs. It's like..REALLY?!! LOL. I like your ideas, though. I also need to cut back on pop. Specifically of the Diet Mountain Dew variety. Are you in the midwest by any chance? (When I say "pop" online, people from the south or east give me a hard time about it.) Anyway, have a good new years!

I do not believe in making New Year Resolutions. A lot of times ones resoluteness has to yield to circumstances beyond control. I am at an age a lot of unexpected things can takeover. Even so may be I have one continuing resolution. Face (bear) the things ungrudgingly. That keeps the mind at peace.
