Well if this year is anything to go by, then not alot. What with all the problems of last year with my son and his adhd and being kicked out of school, also the health issues to do with myself, what have gone from bad to worse, i have nothing much to look forward to.Mind you saying that there is a school that is interested in having my son with them for a few days a week, also the head master wants him there, at least he wont be able to get out of the new place they want him to go to, so a bit less worry maybe.

Don't take a negative attitude. God said He would always care for us. Trust that He will.

We always have something to look forward to such as waking up every morning. I think we should all count our blessings.

Let's see here... my step-father has Stage 4 Bladder Cancer, and he only has 4 to 5 months left to live, my step-sister has a malignant progressive brain tumor and she was given 1 to 2 years left to live, and I have a grandmother who is not well, and who I fear could pass on at any time... this New Year is not one that I am looking forward to. The year 2011 could end up being a terrible year for me.

I have had a bad year also. I have been having a lot of health problems and it seems to be degenerative (I don't have a diagnosis after at least 10 years). My way of thinking is that 2011 can't be much worse. If you think that way, then the new year will be better. It sounds like your new year might be better also. At least you found a school for your son. I hope 2011 is a better year for you than you might think! Happy New Year!

I hope things gets better for you this year. I know you hadit rough last year. I hope things look better for me as well. I hope the houong market opens up soon so my husband and I can sell the house and move. There is not much here in Idaho and I cannot find work with my degree. I have a teaching degree and no jobs are available. It is sad that I sit at home being depressed. My husband works part time and he will not quit his job (although it affects his health and our marriage).

jobs are hard to find in many places. here in Kentucky alot have no jobs at all, times are hard. if you have any kind of job . keep it and save up what you can to buy up what you need the most of like food and water. it is costly to move and it is hard in many states now. if you have nothing to begin with or handed down , it is hard to keep up. hang in there and hope things work out to the good. I found helping others even with kind words goes a long way.

I may have missed the discussion about your son being thrown out of school. It may be that this new one will be much better. My wishes for you in the New Year are that you will get a handle on your health and begin to fill better in some ways. For me, I hope to have some better fortune financially.

Life is what you make it. I've decided to smile more...it's up to me how I feel so I might as well maker the most of it all. Smiling is a good way to feel good .
I've also found an awesome site that pays well and I'm having a great time there.
Good luck to you and yours.

I'm looking forward to finally following through with the most cliche of all new years resolutions known to the mortal world: losing weight.
I've been on an amazing roll as of late with the process, and don't plan on sabotaging myself any time soon. By my calculations, I could easily reach my ideal healthy weight by mid feb.
Seeing as drastic weightless is extremely unhealthy(I hate the irony of that) I figure 3 or 4 months from now, I'll be at or near my target weight.

I am looking forward to seeing my two newborn nieces grow up. We have never had two babies at the same time before, my nephews and nieces came one at a time. It would be interesting to see them learn and compare their progress. I find it rewarding just taking care of them - but that's probably because at the end of the day, I can still give them back to their parents.

I'm sorry to hear about your son... I struggle with ADHD as well but my issues are academic rather than behavioral. I also hope your health improves. For the new year I'm looking forward to snow. I can't wait to take out the snowmobile. I am also looking forward to being a bridesmaid for the first time and improving my academic performance.

I have nothing much to look forward to either. Watching my great grandson grow will be fun and interesting since he is developing at such an alarming rate. Hoping my grandson stays out of trouble and that he does a good job in school like we did a pinky sware ceremony on. I hope that all goes well, not stupendously or anything like that- just well.

The main thing that I have to look forward to for 2011 is the hope that this will be a better year for our family financially than 2010 was. We had to deal with a lot of medical bills and also with a lot of time off of work for my husband as well as the fact that they cut his overtime when he was able to work and that really caused a lot of financial woes for us. So, for that reason, I look forward to the fact that this is going to be a better year for our family financially.

I'm sorry to hear you have so many problems with your health and your son. I'm ADHD too, and can no longer take my medication because I'm bipolar and it can cause mania. I start school again after being away on medical leave for a year and a half and am excited and scared at the same time. I have to keep motivation high somehow. I have a tendency of just giving up on my classes and stop working midway through the term, but I can't afford to fail anymore classes.
