New Year Challenge no. 1

Wow now is 1.1.11. I am excited to face what this new year 2011 is going to offer me. By the way my first challenge that I really need to face this year is how to face my senior colleague. I have been in a bitter 'work' relationship with him since last year. I am directly under him in term of planning and staff performance. See how he can ruin my life. I have to face him everyday, so do you have any advice?

just do the best you can! if this person is nasty or bitter that is up to them. As long as you stay happy and positive, although i know it cant be hard with negative people, things will work out for you in the end. i believe in karma and that people will eventually get what they deserve, whether for better or for worse. just try to rise above it.

Thank you my friends for the responses. I am glad that today I am able to face the situation. Yes I just ignored him and I do not mind because as long as long he is not going to ruin my life. It is true indeed that for just being positive is really help me today. We had a meeting from 8 am to 12.30 noon and I can say that I enjoyed the meeting because I just be positive. I assumed that he is not there. Even when he spoke, I just listen and pretend that he is not the one that is talking. Once again..thanks for the suggestions. Am I really a bad colleague?

i understand your situation because i have expeienced such boss, the differece is my boss who is she, her work experiences in this field is shorter than me. so she always asks me about daily basis, but after she got to master it, i am being deprived of mang opportunities in the company.
so, according to my experienced on this, please correct your relation with your boss, before that you should find what you did offence him, if the reason is not rooted for you, you fix now, if it is too hard to fix it, plesse be ready to leave.
