Decluttering is high on my goal list for this year as well. And losing weight. At least I've made some progress on both of those issues!
I do have a question about Etsy... do you have to pay per listing, or is there a "store" kinda like ebay had where there is a monthly fee??

Hi marsha32
It is always better to have goals for the year on the 1st day of the year as your rightly pointed out because we will have full 365 days in hand to achieve. We can have a clear vision of where will land by the end of the year.
I do make my goals for the year on January 1st. First I track my previous year's accomplishments and then make goals for the current year.
My goals for the current year would be
To achieve better profits with my online business.
To become debt free personally.
To make my business debt free.
To spend more quality time with family.
To reduce too many unwanted friends.
Hope and pray I achieve all my goals.
Wish and pray you achieve all your goals.
Happy Living

I have a feeling I will respond to a lot of these today, unless I am offline.
Clean . . . organize some of this must happen this week as I have company
Put stuff in an etsy store . . . I have one, with nothing in it. I have some vintage stuff to put in, and my sister crochets some adorable hats. I want to get a wig head out today and take pictures and add them to the store.
These are my most pressing goals for this year, really for today and this week.
Like many others, I carry way too much weight, but I would rather express that goal Live a healthier lifestyle

Get into the nursing program in school, and make more art and make a name for myself out of art.

First and foremost, pay off Christmas. Hopefully I will achieve that by the end of this month. I am disappointed in my self and how much I spent. So I have another goal to put more away during the year and do better next year. I also need to organize my pantry, and clean my closet. I want to write more this year and make a decent amount writing. I also want to re-lose the 8 pounds that I gained back out of the 18 I lost and lose maybe 5 more. I also need to help my youngest learn to read really well, he has struggled but is getting there now, I need to keep working with him, he has come leaps and bounds in the last couple of weeks while he has been home from school.

In the past, I would do a list of resolutions. Almost nothing on those lists would get accomplished during the year.
For 2011, I've given up on the list of resolutions. It makes things a lot easier that way.

All the best with your goals! You can do it!
The most important thing I'm going to do this year is read my Bible from Genesis to Revelation before the year ends. Also, I will try to smile more, be friendlier and be more neighborly to all I meet.

Hmm, I haven't really thought about it too much, but thinking about it now, I think I at least want to get to a point where I save 15 % of my income (now I save around 10 % of it) and I would also like to increase my online earnings, so that by the end of the year I make $2000 a month...

1)declutter, organize and stay that way is my first and primary goal. I am down to three areas that need to be organized over today and tomorrow, and hopefully I can keep it that way.
2)find a better job, one that is more in my skill set, and educational background
3)put aside $50 a month between survey sites and odd jobs for so we can go on a trip over the summer
I am going to stick with three for right now. I may decide that if these are going well, to add some at Easter time. Maybe it will be a new tradition. Easter resolutions.
