hello friends..
I got one mail today from my friend. Well it was a forwarded one. But it having nice message.
As per mail one little boy is complaining to god that,
God's statues are made by Man. Still every people gives so much importance to it. Everybody cares about it lot. And Man is made by you(God) but still no body that care.
People give very costly and attractive clothes to God's statue but for me I don't having proper clothes to wear.
People serves so many delicious food to God's statue but I rarely gets good food to eat..
Your piggy Bank at temples are full with lots of money but I am not having a single coin in mine
Well isn't it true.. I don't know about other countries.. But in our country its quite similar position. Mail was about helping hands are more good in compare of praying leaps.. What you think about it friends..??

I believe in a God that doesn't need statues to be known. Yes, there are mega buildings, and there are also poor believers. But as a brotherhood of believers, we are often admonished to look after our fellow brothers/sisters as well. But the fact your friend can email means he cannot be so poor as not being able to help the boy in starving situation, unless I am wrong. Definitely a helping hand goes a long way and more sincere than lip service. Did your friend ask if he needed help or was the boy expecting others to know his plight and reach out? Some might not if they feel it might dampen his pride? what do you think? You might want to ask your friend if he extended help?

Hi AKP,
That is so very true and at times it becomes really difficult to understand - Who is superior - God or Humans.
I believe in God too but have my own ways - I see God in Human form - when anyone cares, when anyone helps others, when anyone brings smiles on someones face... I feel close to God.
I think we are becoming more materialistic and tend to weigh many things on the scales with money at one of those scales. And even we do not leave this balancing even when it comes to God.
On personal context - I never donate to any Temple or religious organization. And I do not go to Temples. But I do believe in God and find Him around several times per day.
Cheers,
theSids.

Hi sid...
Yes its true.. People is relating everything with money. And thats really not good. Yes God is in our heart and we should believe in God. But we also can't forget people. After all its a great creation of God.
Personally I believe in God too. And I go for temples too. but rarely.. I really don't like when my parents force me to go for temple. I told them that i believe in god but in my way.. no one can force anyone to believe in God.

Hi akp,
What common notion runs through our country and countrymen that mere helping one or two needy people you can not change the scenario. And possibly due to that they rather offer fruits, milk and money to the mud made statues.
What would they get helping the children or poor people they would get blessing of God when donate handful of money and costly things to god.
What a paradox. And do you think we would be easily coming out of this groove?

Hi Akp
I think this is a situation rampant not just in your country but all over the world. Really sad that humans are hypocrites sometimes. Come to think of it, we are giving favors to those who are more favored but we are too harsh on those who are less favored... Isn't it an irony that men sometimes think that god can be smitten byt all the earthly things we adorn His statue? Besides, we seem to have forgotten the real God who is in Heaven and not the one who can not move, nor speak or do anything.
I believe that that email will awaken a lot of hearts if only people will really look at the real situation.

In my belief, I pray with my sincere heart.
Of course, human-being made the God statue to represent the God to pray.
In most of the religion, they are mostly doing the same.
We are not supposed to comment on it.
As long as you believe in it, I shall respect to your religion.
When you are saying the God made the human-being, shall I know the one who made the God?
Shall I know the space beyond the outer-space?
No one can answer me so far because we are all human-beings.
For me, I shall be kind and faithful to my religion in the hope to get a good ending in my life.

Yup definitely correct the statement mentioned, no need to mention the sect or dinomination it is common action, they called themselves religious people but the reality is paganism. They are worshiping god with images which agains the teaching in the bible. They think their action are right but the reality is God hate such action.... I think little boy is a true worshiper of God and a good observer and he knows the true faith to God. see you around

akp I was just thinking as I read your discussion how true that child was. here in the US we do not have temples likein India but so many
well to do people will donate gobs of money to their church but
they will skirt the p eople across the streets as their clothes are worn and their children look unkempt and hungry. charity begins at home;'The
wealthy man should go over to the man in the raggedy clothes and offet
him a good job in the plant he owns. He should drive to the store and buy some food for the tired mom to feed the six children she has, and clothes for the youngsters. but no this wealthy man will not do this. He
just looks down his nose at them. He remarks those awful people across the street are a disgrace to o r church. why dont they dress better? The wife might pipe up "honey he was laid off of his job and she was telling me her washer is broke and they have no money to fix it.She then admits she gave the mom some money to get her washer repaired. the man is furious with her for this.Yet these are church goers? We are all brothers and we should all help each other but do we? no, not much ,just a few know that when you do for the least of them you do also for me,Christs own words.

Yes I guess thats what the boy mean.
People are just thinking about their self.. and go to temples or church just for their sake. So mostly never thinks about people who are in trouble. well There are some people here too, which always ready to help others. But not all people are same.

Well, it really depends on your perspective of what god is. To that boy, god is merely the statue there, but to his worshipper god is really a superior being up there and giving the statue a lot symbolise their devotion to them. Probably, like the boy say, his follower might not get rewards in this word but somehow, they hope to get rewards in the afterworld. I would suggest that faith is one of the strongest force in the world. Faith can really make a person believe in something although he or she has never encountered upon it. With faith, even poor people are willing to give everything to god in hope for returns, which I'm sure one day, in one way or another, god almighty will reward them back.

Yes faith is important.. But they are just demanding that other people cares about him too. And i guess this can't be achieve in after world..
God is surely superior .. But their creation should also get some importance. After all statues are made by us and we are created by God. So we should also care about each others.

That's so true ... But since we all were made by god we're all at the same level so we don't warship eachother although if someone makes a statue of Jesus or something similar we all give it so much importance because although it was made by one of us it resembles a saint and it doesn't matter who made it , what matters is what it is , we don't look at a portrait of a saint and see canvas and a lot of paint , we look beyond the materials and see what the person who made it wanted it to be.

Well thats true that we all are at the same level.. But i guess that boy wasn't asking that someone give him that importance too. But he is just asking that people also care about him not that much like God. But yeah as we should care about each other. But that is sad that people are just thinking for their self.
