spain got their golden years in 2010..
they always produces many great players like era raul gonzales, josep guuardiola and many more..
but in 2010, they got their best results..
their golden era had beaten many good teams like portugals, Germany, holland..
Spain is not depends on 1 players like Brazils is too depends with Kaka and Robinho and Messi for Argentina or Portugal with their Ronaldo
they had made too anoter good tactics which make confuse many teams...
they are strong in all postion from goalkeepers untill forward
they show us how to enjoy football
Spain show how to be play with effective play and give another scream counter attack
spain show us too how effective a good goalkeepers like casilaas to buold a morale for another players..
spain is deserve to be number one in 2010
i think we all agree that 2010 is Spain year

Since they have won the World Cup this year, it is without doubt that they are the team of the year. Every team will have one or a few star players which they can depend on when the riding get tough. Spain too depend on the likes of Xavi and Villa. Without the two of them, even thou they might have Iniesta or Torres, but to me, Xavi and Villa is the key to Spain success.

Yes, it definitely was the greatest year for the Spanish National Team. They finally broke their under achievers tag. They won the world cup and deservedly so. I think right now they have the best talent on display. People like Pepe Reina cannot break into the playing XI while they would have made it to the starting XI of any other team!!
Cheers!

If you liked the way Spain played at this world cup, then I don't know what to say. They were very lucky and they benefited from many referee mistakes. The goal against Portugal, the game against Paraguay, in the match against Germany, when the referee hasn't sent off Ramos for a foul to Podolski, which was similar for what Ribery got 3 games suspension in the Champions League and the goal in the final, which was irregular. First, Elia was fouled next to the Spain penalty box and then Iniesta was in offside, the ball got back to Villa and then again to Iniesta. The goal wasn't from offside, but the previous pass which was clearly to Iniesta found him in offside. Spain played ugly, and I don't think that they deserved the final win, if we think on the aesthetic side. But the saying is, the winner is always deserving the win, so we have to accept it. But in my opinion the best football was played by Germany, Ghana and Uruguay, but this teams haven't got that extra something which is needed to win a World Cup.

because you are germany fans
but look again about world cup history..
spain is only lost one times, in their first game
after that, they are perfect
they are not unlucky but their the best team..
iam argentina fans but i admit that spain is the best in world cup 2010

I have no problems admitting when a team is better than my favorite. Spain is a very good team, but they had lots of luck as well. And they haven't played attractive football at all, they played the same ugly football Inter did under Mourinho. They are good, have very good players but at the World Cup they played catenaccio and not the exuberant football which was expected from them. I am still at the belief that Germany, Uruguay and Ghana played much more attractive football than Spain or every other country. This, however, doesn't change anything, Spain will remain the winner of this competition, nothing can be done to change this.
