Afriend of mine has just found out that her husband has cancer very badly. They are not going to be able to work for a while. I would like to do a fundraiser for them to help defray the cost of gas and food during this difficult time. Anybody have some quick and easy events that can be done for a fundraiser?

There is a website called www.dropcash.com You create a site with them that explains what the fundraiser is for. e-mail everyone you know to e-mail everyone they know to go to this site and donate money. The money gets put into a paypal account for the family.

Car washes and yard sales seem to be the easiest. You can also try to get a company to donate bumberstickers to sell. I know one family had a bumbersticker made up and sold them on e-bay to pay for their son's cancer operation..

first thing you need to do is pray about it even if you don't pray you might want to start and ask Him to lead you in the direction He wants you to go to and he will tell you what you can do to help them make money but my suggestion would be a bake sale..contact a church and see if they can help..I know where I live we have acouple of places that will help with the electric and things like that..good luck I know what they are going through my father has cancer and he has had to quit his job and money is VERY HARD to come by

Garage sales usually do well, or sell Krispy Creme donuts, we did that for a church function and made a good profit.
