The radio seems to ruin music

Think about it, when a new song comes out the first place you hear it is the radio. Right? Okay then that songs becomes very popular, and then the radio begins to play it a lot. Then people begin to call in for request, and of course the radio plays it. So to me it seems the radio ruins a good song by simply over playing it wayy too much. Am i right? Or am i right?..

I agree with you, and it's not just the radio stations that broadcast new music, it's every type of station. I listen to some channels with classical music, but even there, they don't have a very diverse playlist, they just play the same songs over and over again, until they are completely spoiled for me. The only solution seems to be to change stations often.

I'd have to agree with you on this. It's one of the reasons why I don't listen to the radio if I can help it. Or if I do listen to the radio I choose a station that doesn't play the latest and newest music. It gets very annoying to hear the same 10 songs over and over on the radio. I remember this one time I was driving and had to listen to the radio because I didn't have any CDs with me, in the span of one hour I had to listen to this one song by Akon 7 times. Talk about being overplayed.

I totally know what you mean. The radio plays the songs way too much so they just get annoying. I find so many songs that I like when they are new but they eventually get annoying. That is why I don't listen to the radio that way I don't get tired of my music, only draw back is I don't always hear about new music right away.

Now that I think about it, this might be one of the reasons I don't listen to the radio that much anymore. Listening to the same song 10 times every day is not exactly my idea of musical bliss, no matter how good that song might be.
