Well for one you will probably need to know HTML. Go into the HTML editor you used to make your website and add the banner where you want it.

Ok you should add some simple informations in an html code in this way you can add this code on your pofile or website too!! The simplest portion of code in html for a banner is that: completing tha href and img tag you can display a simple standard banner 468x60 as you cna see in many places on the net. good luck.

I see that you have received some help in previous responses but, if you are like I was when I first started using a computer, those tips were very difficult to understand When I use a banner from a site and it has not already got a HTML code provided with it, I save it to my computer and then Iupload it to www.photobucket.com Once it is uploaded there you will have a code, a direct link to it and a link to be able to use it in forums too.
