Yeah, I've been wondering this from young. Everytime I drink orange juice after brushing my teeth it taste real weird. Any idea why is that so?

It's because your mouth has been filled with the peppermint flavour of the toothpaste; so when you are drinking orange juice on top of that, you are tasting a mixture of orange juice and minty toothpaste: a weird taste indeed; and not a very nice one I'd say!

Haha I never really noticed that before but its probably because the toothpaste is minty and the oj is sweet and also cause the tongue has certain areas on it where the flavours go on and the sweet and the minty mix for a bad result lol

I think it is because the taste of mint ruins the taste of everything. A great diet tip brush teeth then say no sence in eating the cake if its going to taste crappy. Not sure why oj is the worst but maybe cause of all the acid maybe it does not mix well with toothpaste? I wonder if tomato juice would taste just as horrid?

Hahaha, cool. Nice perspective. I heard from somewhere that because the acid in orange juice reacts with the fluoride in the toothpaste? I dunno.
