Is life like a box of chocolate's?

Do you think life is like a box of chocolate's. I do, I don't know what to expect from day to day. Each day is a surprise waiting for me. What do you think about this?

In the sense that you never know what is wrapped inside a day. But in the sense that they are all sweet - no way! Life is not always sweet at all. But I get the analogy at least!

Yes, I understand what you are saying. Life isn't always sweet. I guess that is what makes it a surprise in a sense. We just don't know what will be thrown at us from day to day. Will it be a good day or a bad day.. But, I guess we can find good in all things if we really look for the good. Have a good day :)

yeah, I guess it is like a box of chocolate. Some chocolate are dark, some milk and some white. Dark chocolate are those bitter ones milk are those sweet ones and milk are those that you get bored of when you eat too much. But whatever it is, stay positive every day and hope for the best. Surprises can be good if you take it positively.

I really like your discription on chocolate. I never thought of chocolate this way, describing it as bitter or sweet. It is so true somedays might be bitter and other's may be sweet. It is always a surprise, and that is why we need to take one day at a time.

I think it's nice and true sentence. But there is a moment, when we can control our life little more than usual. That's when we reach independence and we are stable enough to deal with every kind of situations, having already the right decision because of our experience in the past. I wish i could deal with everything, even with the bitter chocolates, which i don't like so much, but i'm not on that level of my life, where i can feel free to do whatever i want to.
