Who will be the champion in World Cup 2011?

Looking at current performance I can say that India has a greater chance to win this world cup and I want India to win the world cup. It has been long time and we are eagerly waiting for the day when India will lift the world cup trophy 2011. Thank You for sharing

Well my dear friend, it is hard to say who will win the World Cup. England has surprised everyone last year by winnings ICC T20 World Cup by winnings against Australia. At those conditions, Australia and England were looking very compact. But in 50 overs ODI format, never know what will happen. In sub-continent conditions India was eliminated in semi final stages. In 1987 Reliance World Cup India was knocked out in Semis and same thing happened in 1996 World cup. But here India has to forfeit the match to Sri Lanka because crowd started throwing bottles on players. So, match was lost. So, India is getting choked at semi final stages. This time I am not expecting much from India because no home team has ever won a world cup till to this date. England had never won the world cup till to this date. So, it would be great time for English team to win for themselves and it is shame that inventors of cricket had never won a world cup till now. May be this world cup 2011 is for them. Australia is other team which somehow manages to perform very well in big events. So, they might win their 5th title. In sub continent conditions, they have once won a World Cup in 1987 and in 1996 World Cup they were finalist and lost to Sri Lanka. So, they too have chance more than any other team. Sri Lanka is also a dangerous team, so, they have proved that winning World Cup is not impossible. They have won in 1996. Pakistan, New Zealand and West Indies are very unpredictable teams, one day they will beat the best team in world and on the other day, they will lose to a weakest team.. So, I can't say about these teams. South Africa had performed very well in world Cups and they get choked up when nearing the semi final stages. So, if they play according to their potential they can but the big problem they have is that they are weak against spin bowling.. Minnow teams might not do much wonders in Indian, Bangladesh and Sri Lankan conditions, i guess. Bangladesh might upset some big teams but I am not sure how they will play when they go out of Bangladesh to India and Sri Lanka. So, it is interesting World Cup.. I love to see any team win the World Cup apart from Australia. Last time in West Indies they won against Sri Lanka because of bad whether if not the match would have been different.. I expect much more better performance from India and Pakistan this time because both these teams were knocked out in the first round by teams like Ireland and Bangladesh.

It's going to be an interesting world cup this year. I think England will win the world cup because they are the form side at the moment, however India will be hard to beat.

Well,Friend it's not easy to say in the game cricket to predict winner, this game is all about upsets.But as a current performance India has strong chance to become champions as they will play in home ground with own crowds and other competitive teams can be said that are S.A,England and Srilanka at present.
