The End of the World

Now it is 2011 and we are in for many changes at the personal as well as at the global level. I happened to watch 2012 on New Year's Eve and the references to Maya calendar and the earth's axis going haywire made me get the jitters. The Bible and many of the holy books of other religions are replete with references hinting at the end of the world. Will the end be so near? Will it be of any profit if we ponder over it? Or shall we put the doomsday predictions on the back burner for a while?

The end of the wold is very near. But no one knows the exact day of the coming of the lord. We should be always ready to meet our lord Jesus Christ. The Lord may come at any day at any time. So Be ready to meet Jesus and prepare others to meet Jesus.

That is absolutely right. We should be ready to meet Him as the hour of His coming is quite unknown.

Hi! I agree and we must continue to pray to God for help that we may change our ways and give Him glory. Complete surrender and acceptance to Jesus that He is our loving God and Saviour. God bless us all.

There are so many end of the world predictions and possibilities being talked about right now that it seems there's a good chance something drastic is going to happen. Whether it will be the absolute end of the world, or just the "world as we know it" can't be known. I do believe that the Lord is much, much nearer to returning and establishing His kingdom, so there are things that will have to happen first and they don't sound like much fun. Will it be of any profit if we ponder it? Only if, in the pondering, we decide to give ourselves over to Jesus. Just thinking about it won't do a bit of good for anyone. We simply don't know what year or time the world will end, but it will end. This world will not go on forever and we may be the generation that sees the end of it.

It is for sure that something drastic is going to happen sooner or later. When that will happen is a million dollar question and we have to be ready and waiting before the moment arrives.

We don't know when the end is near, as wse just need to be ready at all times. Jesus is coming back again, and we all certainly need to be ready for that or we will be lost. What the one user said is correct. There is coming a National Sunday Law where everyone will be forced to worship on that day. I will not do it,because I am a Seventh Day Adventist, and I worship on Saturday, which is the 7th day Sabbath according to the Bible. Jesus will not be coming back until after the tribulation. We all need to be ready because if we aren't and we wait for the so called Rap;ture, then you will be caught unawares and you will take the Mark of the beast,as Sunday is the Mark. I know most won't believe this, but I am telling the truth. I just hope that everyone is ready no matter what, and not take the Mark. Take care, and May God Bless you.

Thanks for the blessings. May God bless you too. If the end is sudden and unexpected, we have to be extra cautious and keep vigil all the time.

i think that this is wrong, because in one hand people say that all humans are going to die, but in the other hand people dont have proofs about this
