Referrals through discussion links

If I create a post somewhere else such as my blog and it links to a discussion that I've participated in will I get credit if someone uses that link to sign up or do I have to use the affiliate code instead? I would love to just sign in, make a post, copy the link, send it out, and then get credit for signups. Thanks

If you add the code "?ref=snbutterfly" to ANY link to a MyLot page, any person who follows that link and signs up to MyLot should become your referral (provided that they have cookies enabled). This is explained here: http://www.mylot.com/nr/earnings_r.aspx and more about referrals is here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq14.aspx

Because earnings for the last 2 days have not been updated yet.

MyLot does not pay a set amount 'per post'. It pays according to the quality of your participation. It depends, too, in which time zone you are and therefore which day, according to MyLot's time, you actually posted.

Getting referrals is one thing. Earning from them is another. They must be active referrals if you want to increase your own earnings and when they sign up it will be much easier for them to become active of you guide them through what they are supposed to do here. Having said that; if someone reads your discussion and signs up they would not sign up through your referral link and become your referral BUT if you add to the link your referral link then they would. Just add this to the end of the link to the discussion: ?ref=snbutterfly
