Back in the good ole days, the Sidekick was the ultimate "fun" phone to have. With cool attractive sounds, a light-up trackball, swivel out/ flip up screen, integrated instant messaging apps and the absolute best QWERTY keyboard of all time (IMO). I been a fan of this powerful messaging/ social media device since its franchise debut in Fall 2002, while I was still in high school. From the original no-colour Sidekick, to the D-Wade & Tony Hawk editions, and LED plated LX's... the evolution of this ICONIC phone is indeed, EPIC!! But all good things must come to an end, right? Well lets hope not. Rumor has it... the SK will be BACK... but, with a "twist"!!! "@Tmobile What would you like to see what happen with the Sidekick? Give us your wishlist" - Tweeted a month back by the verified T-mobile account via Twitter. A few months back, T-Mobile announced the end of the Sidekick brand, but also mentioned to "stay tuned for a brand new innovative experience". Hmmmmm, well thats when the Sidekick Twist rumors started to surface... supposedly leaked by an "insider" from T-mobile itself. The new rumored ANDROID-POWERED SIDEKICK TWIST is suppose to drop sometime in 2011. Sources close to Storm City says that the SK Twist will indeed have 4g, a 4.3 inch touch screen, and the iconic swivel out that all us "loyal" SK fans can adore. Dang, I hope they throw a Gingerbread 1 ghz processor in their too and made by HTC =) LOL. But what features would YOU like to see on the new Sidekick?
