continue to get calls from businesses

im getting rally fed up answering my phone to have some business on the other end offering me new windows or secuirity system for my home just to mention a few i dont want these and its getting to be atleast 6 times a week now is there anyway to stop this im ex diectory and dont give out my number to many sites at all any suggestions would be great

If you are living within the U.S.A. you should have this number to call to stop those telemarketers calls. You have the rights to not receiving any of those calls to your phone. If you have landline, you can call your local phone company to stop those telemarketer's calls though.

I am not in usa i am in uk and i dont think i should pay bt to have them blocked when i pay for my phoneline anyway.

Honestly, I have had issues with telemarketers in the past but this sounds ridiculous and is very bad that you have had to go through it. But I offer you this suggestion: Calling your phone provider and asking for a number block for that number or if it is possible to change your home phone number which is definitely an undesirable result. However I hope you solve this issue.
