sreesanth has been pick of the bowlers in the current test series.he is always admired for his great seam position and his conventional out swing which he normally gets.he has shown in the past that whenever there is some help for pace bowler he could be a real danger for the batsman.is he the best swing bowler right now for india?

I am not sure he is the best, though he is one of the best at this moment. His partner in crime Zaheer might be slightly ahead of him in the running given the fact that apart from conventional swing he can also bowl reverse variety. Sreesanth is still working on that. But today the balls he bowled to Prince and Boucher was perfect for a swing bowler and that shows the talent this boy has if he keeps his mind in the right place!! Cheers! Ram

As I mentioned in my earlier response, till Sree masters the reverse swing, he is still not in the same class as Zaheer. Cheers! Ram

zaheer is definitely ahead of him in terms of experience and the smartness but about swing sreesanth is going head to head.and talking about his today's performance, the delivery he bowled to prince and boucher were unplayable and i never seen a delivery swinging that much in recent years.

Hi shailesh, Let us not give superlative degrees to any sportsman as soon as he performs little better. Srisanth is a good baller and can swing the ball both ways. If the pitch is helpful he is effective if not he is just an average medium pace baller. Zaheer is better than him on any surface. In S.A. the performance of Sree santh improves many fold because of the helpful wickets. He has also performed well when India toured here last time.

zaheer definitely leads him in terms of experience but as i have mentioned i m talking about purely swing bowling and i think on wicket giving little assistance to the bowlers ,sree becomes more dangerous than zaheer as he bowls with better speed and swing.i think he needs to work on reverse swing and if he could do that then he great for indian team.keep mylotting.:)

Sreeshant swings the bowl a great deal both ways. But he a too erratic to be classified a great/best swing bowler. Let us not forget his performance in the first test before getting carried away. Hopefully he will blossom more under Zaheer & serve Indian cricket well.

O fcourse Sreesanth is a good swing bowler. He also giifted with the all alone seam position which we can rarely see in other fast bowlers. In the conditions were these seam and swing is at the top he will be a real terror to the batsmen. But the problem is that he is finding himself to find in good form.He is struggling to find his line length. In a short manner he is not consistent. He has to improve a lot.AQlso he should control his temper in the ground.

he needs to control his anger and i think from the time he has came back in the team he has shown quite a bit improvement.he could be a real handful in world cup if he continues in this form.:)

Sree is one of the gifted bowlers who can swing the ball in both ways. The problem is that he puts quite a few short or too full to be hit around making him the not-so-economic bowler. His temperament should be handled with right focus, which will help him picking wickets at crucial times, just as he has picked 5-for in this ongoing third test match against SA. Another problem and prize he has is that he can come back very strongly with good deliveries, but needs some good guidance from seniors in the team.

yeah that is something he should learn.in past he used to face problem with his aggression which he was not able to control on the field, but i think since his come back i feel he has improved quite a bit and it has shown in his performance.he should be handled properly.:)
