My wife and mother prapred deleciouce foods and salats. so it was great to see the gathered family around the table. Moreover, my aunt and uncle have visited us on that day.

what happened? Why you don't welcome new year 2011.Every year is a hope and hope is always good.Unless we are hopeful of something good life becomes dull and morose. When you are prepared to welcome 2012 why don't you welcome 2011. unless you spend 2011 you don't reach 2012.Try to see good side in everything then only you can be happy..All the best.God bless you...

We had a wonderful New Years Eve. We had a large gathering at my church. We're really a small church, like a big family. We had a lot of food, as usual around here ;) Then we played games and visited with each other untill 11:30 when we went into the sanctuary and all had a time of prayer. We prayed in the New Year, thanking God for the year past and asking Him to bless the New Year. It was a very emotional time, as each of us prayed for our families and loved ones and just asked God to guide us through the New Year. We ended our prayers about 5 minutes after New Years. Then it was more food and fellowship for a while before we left the church. A perfect way to start the New Year.

You have started the new year happily in an ideal way.It is correct to remember the God on that occasion thanking Him for what good He has done us the past and praying for His grace in the following year.It is really an emotional experience and very few get it and you are one such lucky people....

Haha...I actually slept right through the night of December 31st. I had been working every single day because of the holiday season so I was really tired after getting off of work that day. I went home and just crashed. By the time I woke up again it was past midnight when my brother came home. Apparently, it even ended up snowing that night which is rare around here and I had to miss out on it. It really felt like just another day for me. I don't think the new year has kicked in for me yet.

I went to the casino.. actually 2 of them.. Played High Stakes Bingo in one... and won some money in the other.. I was on a slot machine when the countdown happened... I don't really care much about holidays.. so it was just another day for me... I did come home with a little extra money in my pocket though so the year started off good. :-)

What a pity? You should have taken off on 31st night.Anyhow you spent happy time on 1st with your kids. They might have missed you a lot on 31st night. But we have to do our duty. There is pleasure in doing duty also. You must feel proud in having done your duty when others were relaxing.May God bless you...

My hubby and children were busy with fireworks. Actually I am not so interested in fireworks. they consumes money also. Actually I was so angry. But i didn't show it out. I helped them. I was so sick. I could not help stopping to go to the doctor. so I went to the doctor. the medicines were so expensive. I never let my heart to worry for these sort of sentiments. I have always hopes. My heart was always praying to god the whole day long.

I spent the night of 31st december in our home with my family. It is a tradition in our family to be together during special ocassions. At first we attended the mass and after that we helped each other by preparing and cooking the foods for the media noche. When it is already 12am of jan 1, everybody was making noise, had some fireworks, some children were jumping, having some parties, clubbing, throwing some coins inside the house, wearing polka dots, having 12 round fruits in the table, hams, etc. The good thing in celebrating the new year is you are with your family when the new year enters.

I was lucky enough to be able to spend it with family and friends. I own a karaoke/dj business, so we had a blast and got paid for it. Plus, the food at the restaurant was great, and no major issue's. I tend to think that family and friends are more what the holidays are about, so, even though it was work, it was something I wish all could enjoy.

Very few spend the happy moments in the midst of family members. Many miss it for various reasons like jobs or studies etc. There is nothing like spending important events in the company of members of family and new year eve is such one important occasion which comes only once in a year. You are very lucky in that respect. All the best..
