Jesus Christ had told not to beleive any body who comes after Him.He led such a wonderful life full of purity and love. After Him a lustfull man who married 14 wives and among them two were just 9 year kids, came and twisted God's words to his lustful conviniences and with out any spiritual standards proclaimed he is the last prophet. Lustful men, who wanted to enjoy sin followed him.Terrorists followed him.But the real GOD fearing people desern deep down in their hearts and know who is from God and who are from devil.Thats the reason why God has given intelligence to human beings to choose the right thing. Some dont use. Some use them. The truth they will know one day on the day of Judgement. So think using your intelligence. Later it may be too late.Choosing the way of light or the way of darkness is upto your choice. All you require here is a strong rational practical thinking. Not a mere religious biased ordinary thinking. On the day of Judgement those who are against God will be thrown into the burning hell. That day you cant tell that you followed a sinner and he is responsible for your plaight. He wont ask how many people you killed by bombing or by sending antreyas, how many viruses you sent on the internet.
Know that God exists even today and He is watching all of us.
God wants you to know Him.Just read the purest version of the scripture not the twisted version of the lustfull.Call on the holy name of Jesus once to your heart and enjoy that loving touch. It is practical dear..

You have just perfectly told it.The truth may sound bitter at times but in the long run only the truth stays forever. I feel all our friends should read it and try to think from this point.I agree with you globalsheen!

it is a way of life like any other way of life. Of course you speak from the point of views that you were taught. You came to this world and saw you parents. They told you what is right and what is wrong they told you that your religion was perfect. Well like any other idiology there is nothing wrong with it the problem with Islam is the followers. The problem with it is it gives power to the indivual to control any other. Like you you wrote this comment for what reson to enter heven which i doubt?
Have you ever sat and thought with your self about Islam?

That is a very general question and can be answered in differnt ways. Simply, it a religion that acknowledges other religions. Alot of media and hype is going on regarding Islam..Negative points practiced by muslims are picked on and used to give Islam a bad image.
If you want to know the real Islam you have to read about it, not watch what the muslims are doing

Real hit the nail on the head. Of course the only example you get is from what you see.... When all you see is ignorance and violence you can't help but believe that is all there is. If it mattered at all Muslims would show their peaceful and loving contributions to the world.... I am fuzzy on the fact that there are any at all. Have they ever made a peaceful and worth while contribution to this world?

Based on what I have read about Islam and this discussion and Misyar, I am so glad I was raised outside of a muslim environment. My take on the Misyar is that I feel bad for women who are allowed to be taken advantage of regardless of if they want it or not. Seems that are not allowed to say no. Further if she is staying at her parents house, he can come over any time he pleases day or night and enter the house, doesn't matter if he is welcome or not, and have his way with her.

Quran ordered us not to hurt other relegions.and ordered us to live them alone.
I want you to know that i 'm not here to make you believe in ISLAM but to make you believe in not to hurt muslims.
I 'm not here to say that cristians are bad because our Quran ordered us not to do so.
please don't take bad thoughts about ISLAM because of some mistakes happened from its followers.
finally i wanna tell you that i 've many cristian friends here in Egypt.
I love them & they love me.
I don't try to make them muslims and they don't hurt me.
I wish you could understand.

Sorry would prefer to hold my thoughts on your question, but wish these discussions would stop coming up in here! Maybe a sign of insecurity about your religion for all these posts to appear?

Hey caramello it is a lot better then the many discussions started here on myLot. Like "did you take a bath today?" or "do you collect anything?". I have in fact start a new collection myself. It is a collection of the discussion about what do you collect! There a great many of them. I love to collect but we don't need dozens and dozens of them!

for me islam is just another good religion and i think muslims are very faithful and loyal as far as religion is concern. i would say that islam is the equivalent of christianity but in my own point of view muslims are very obedient with the teachings of koran and islam compared to christians...

It's a religion I respect like any other religion, I don't think it better or worse than any other. It's not a religion that I would ever think about joining, but that dosen't mean that I'm against it, it's just not what I've been brought up to believe.

what i would like to know is why are a large majority of muslims radical and fanatics?
And why is it that in the majority of trouble spots around the world the genisis of the problem is the religion of islam?
