How many of you use MyLot to get inspiration for writing Triond articles?
Sometimes I do it on purpose, but sometimes it just accidentally happens! Sometimes when I have writer's block and can't think of a single thing to write about, I'll browse MyLot until I get a good idea. But then earlier today I was responding to discussions on MyLot, and someone asked a question about a topic I know a fair bit about. I was able to give them helpful information. Then I realized, "Hey... I could write an article about this..." So I did!

I do come to myLot to get inspiration for my writing on Triond. I find the discussions very useful to spark my imagination, gather thoughts and ideas on a particular issue that is of interest to me. There are times when I don't contribute much to myLot, but I come here to browse interesting discussions to write about almost on a daily basis.

I do it too, just like you--sometimes on purpose and sometimes by accident! I like Triond because you can write about pretty much anything, but their pay seems very low. I am trying out Helium now, to see if that pays better.

Hi Suzie,
Triond may have low earnings in the beginning. But in the long run, you will benefit from it. As for Helium, I took a second look at it, but it's just not for me. In fact, Helium deleted my account. I guess I'm not good enough for them...

Hi Trickiwoo, in this case, you might as well browse through the Questions and Answers interest group in Mylot everyday.
Even if you do not know the topic every well, you can learn from the discussion thread, and summarize all the different viewpoints into an article. Since you are on that thread, you can also add in your comment to the discussion.
That will shorten the research time, and you can earn from participating in mylot and Triond.
