Facebooking...

I think facebook is both a waist of time and a way to sty in touch. •it is a waist of time because now so many applications liek farmvill have come across and it's not cool to see those posts on my own wall. There are other similar apps and those to me are considred spam. •staying in touch with friends is the fun part. I've had friends from a long time ago, and I mean in high school and below find me some how lol! That can be fun and interesting to see people change over the years.

I am on it quite a bit myself. I don't think I am as addicted to it as I used to be.. although I do usually sign on at least once everyday.. but like you I am usually on it for hours and I leave it open while doing everything else I need to do. :-) Is it a waste of time.. No, I don't think so.. It has many good uses. I am now using it to help crosspost abandoned and unwanted pets in kill shelters and trying to find people who are interested and can help save them or sometimes even chip in a few bucks for dogs and cats that have been abused and are in need of dire medical care. I figure if I am going to spend all that time on facebook- I may at least be productive/useful.

Answering to your question, well... both answers are correct for me. If you use facebook in a useful way, I mean talking with friends, or something like that, so it's a fun way to kill free time. But if you just spend time seeing what people do, and all their activities in the site, well that's a waste of time. I think you better spend more time here in MyLot, where you can earn some money too.

I find it very addicting as well. I don't know why, but something about it always draws me. I leave the window open whenever I'm online, which is 4-5 hours a day. Even then, I check on it constantly on my iPod Touch. The only thing that sucks is that it kills a lot of my time when I can be doing something so much more productive.

I find it cool and useful when it comes to checking up on friends, especially the old ones or those with whom one does not keep much contact. It is totally a fun way to kill free time but personally, I think spending too much time on it is just not good. Personally, I check my account from time to time but I never spend more than an hour on it. More often, it's even less.

Its always fun to spend time on facebook or in other words to kill free time :P you can interect with your friends specially with those who are living in other countries.
